An accessible innovation city in the nature

Raisio is a city synonymous with infrastructure. It’s a well-connected city built in an intersection offering great car mobility and connectivity but is also challenged with traffic congestion. The vision for Raisio City Centre builds on these preconditions and will connect the city center from within as well as to its attractive natural surroundings. With the new tram connection to Turku and the bus connection to Naantali, Raisio will be a node in the region that promotes innovative businesses- living- and outdoor activities.

Future living in Raisio will mean having access and proximity; to nature, to outdoor sports, to sustainable habitats as well as great living conditions for a broad age group. Raisio has always offered diverse forms of living, from villas to small apartments. “Raisio Network City” will offer similar qualities but enhance them and interconnect them to offer a coherent and safe pedestrian environment. The urban landscape in Raisio offers large open public parks to smaller private small gardens and generous greenhouse-like balconies.
