SNA has been invited as one of the 5 teams to participate in the international urban planning competition to transform the former Tikkurila Paint Factory area. Tikkurila Ltd and the City of Vantaa organise a one-stage international invitational com-petition regarding the Tikkurila paint factory area. The competition is arranged in cooperation with the Finnish Association of Architects (SAFA). The centre of Tikkurila is an area with about 11,000 residents and 9,000 jobs. It is the administrative centre of Vantaa, which has mixed functions and temporal layers. In the future, the centre of Tikkurila will extend to the paint factory area.
